Chris McCready is a former professional footballer at Crewe Alexandra, Tranmere and Morecambe as well as a graduate in Science and Football BSc at Liverpool John Moores University. Chris spent 14 years as a professional footballer but found the best decision he made as an adult outside of his personal life was to return to part time studies while still a footballer. Now retired from football, Chris is studying for an PhD and is also working at the Trust looking after Athlete Support and Development.
Since joining the Charity as Director of Programmes in 2008, Emma has overseen the successful delivery and expansion of all the Trust’s programmes for young people and world class athletes. Emma is a strong advocate of establishing good practice for social research and measuring the impact of work in the third sector. She's led the Trust to develop its first impact measurement strategy and played an influential role in the development of their social return on investment model.
