Amerjit Chohan is a highly experienced and highly motivated senior fundraiser with over 18 years’ experience in the non-for-profit sector.

Amerjit brings key expertise in the areas of strategic thinking, audience development, team motivation, corporate sponsorship and brand strategy.

Throughout his career, Amerjit has proven himself extremely adaptable and accomplished at increasing income through effective project management, product development, marketing and high level face-to-face negotiations.

Amerjit’s successes include the development and launch of the UK’s most successful charity iPhone App, iHobo, which achieved over 500,000 downloads. The App was awarded two Media Guardian Innovation Awards and provided advertising coverage for the charity to the equivalent of £1m advertising spend.

Amerjit has also successfully designed and planned a wide-range of cultivation events – including fundraising appeal launches, ministerial receptions, Annual Awards Dinners and House of Lords receptions.

Amerjit has extensive experience of evaluating delivery programmes. He led on the implementation of one of the UK’s first SROI evaluations in partnership with the New Economics Foundation using a model derived from the states, the Roberts Enterprise Development Fund model.
