Remuneration Committee The Remuneration Committee provides an oversight, review and advisory role to the Board on the remuneration of the Chief Executive and senior staff. Michael Kelly Michael brings extensive commercial experience from a global career spanning over four decades in finance across the public and private sector. In 2016, Michael was elected the first practising Fellow at The Institute of Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability and has also featured in the ‘Economia’ Top 50 most influential business people, following his work to establish the Living Wage and persuade more than 2,500 employers to join this movement. Under his direction, KPMG were also acknowledged as the leading Corporate Social Responsibility organisation by The Sunday Times and The Financial Times. He has published over 30 books and manuals, including the first global study on human rights within the finance sector. He has also been a special advisor to the United Nations Environment Programme, where he chaired the global finance initiative for a number of years. Michael believes that it is the responsibility of everyone to ensure that we do not lose a generation of talent by not nurturing our young people and supporting our most able athletes. It is one of the greatest legacies we can pass on to future generations. Jane Middleton Jane is an entrepreneurial finance director, with extensive experience in leadership roles across the aviation and aerospace sector. A qualified accountant with a Masters Degree in Air Transport Management, Jane has worked at a senior level for Rockwell Collins, Virgin Atlantic and TNT Express. Jane is currently Chairman at Airlines UK and on the Board at the Royal Aeronautical Society. Past positions include Trustee of the Royal Air Force Museum, Treasurer of The Air League and Director of Women in Aviation International (US). Having worked with several non-profit organisations, Jane has a strong understanding of charity finance regulatory requirements. Jane’s passion for aviation extends outside work, where she enjoys flying to new places and has been to the launch of a space shuttle in Florida. Susan Miller-Jones Susan has gained extensive human resources experience via senior roles at global organisations including Barclays Bank, UBS, Lehman Brothers, HSBC, Brunswick Group Limited, DTZ and ARCADIS. Having begun her career in specialist HR roles, she has now spent over 14 years in HR Generalist roles including leading large global teams of generalists and specialists on all aspects of HR (Compensation, Performance, Learning, Recruitment, ER as well as the end to end requirements of running a people function). Susan has been at KPMG since April 2015 where she heads HR for the Tax, Pensions and Legal Services Function and Deal Advisory, and leads on Brexit people matters. Before joining KPMG, Susan spent an invaluable period advising global, cross sector organisations (ARCADIS, E*TRADE, OCCM, HSBC) around change projects and colleague investment programmes on a consultancy basis both in the UK and the US.
