Since the initial lockdown began, Col. Dame Kelly Holmes (Double Olympic Gold Medallist and ex-army PTI) has been a true Dame by hosting free daily workouts and expert guidance whilst also cultivating a community by connecting with us 1-2-1 on a human level. As a gesture of immense gratitude on my part, I am giving back by supporting the wonderful job her charity does by using the fitness skills I have gained from her Military in Motion training by aligning the fundraising with the November Virtual 10K Challenge she has set (1st - 8th November 2020) and the Alphabet Challenge (1st-26th Nov 2020 - each day has a different word/words and each letter of each word has a corresponding exercise to be completed in succession). The training programme is designed and monitored by Kelly using her experience from both her careers as an International Athlete and from the British Army as she prepares us for the Final.

I'm raising funds for Dame Kelly Holmes Trust because they do an amazing job in helping young people facing disadvantage lead a more positive life. Their transformational programmes help young people who are not in education, employment or training get back on track.

The Trust target those who need help most, not those who are easiest to reach – last year they ran programmes for care leavers, homeless people, young offenders, women at risk of sexual exploitation and those living within isolated communities, so you can be sure any money raised will be going to a very worthwhile cause.
