About us Our news Introducing our 2017/18 Impact Report Our Impact Report highlights the Impact Dame Kelly Holmes Trust had on the lives of young people in the UK in 2017-18. We worked with over 1,370 young people across our transformational programmes, reached more students aged 16-24 than ever before and were nominated for three prestigious awards. In 2018 Dame Kelly Holmes Trust marked 10 years of working to support some of the most disadvantagedyoung people in our society. In this time, over 600 world class athletes have been trained todeliver over 27,500 hours of mentoring across our transformational programmes. No organisation has done more to harness and utilise this workforce to transform young people’s lives and deliver lasting change to local communities. Some of the highlights from 2017-18 were: At the GO stage of Get on Track, 90% of participants of participants felt prepared to enter orre-enter education, employment or training At the end of the On Track to Achieve programme, teachers reported a 49% increase on ability to control emotions. 85% of participants on AQA Unlocking Potential felt more confident at the end of the programme 52 young people became Community Champions within their communities, our new programme designed to create Young Leaders within their communities.
