We really do have some of the most amazing supporters here at Dame Kelly Holmes Trust.

Steve Groombridge from Tonbridge in Kent is nearing the end of an epic 4,000 mile journey on bike from Nordkapp in Norway and finishing (hopefully) in Tarifa in Spain. Amazingly before the journey, Steve had only ever cycled 45 miles in one go before taking on the epic route below.

Steve is raising money for three charities along the way, including Dame Kelly Holmes Trust of course:

I’ve wanted to take on this challenge for some time now, not only to push my boundaries and comfort level, but also to raise money for three worthy causes. Alzheimer’s Research UK, Dame Kelly Holmes Trust and Hope and Homes for Children all help people struggling with real hardship and challenges that are of no fault of their own. Therefore, all funds raised from my cycle will be split across these three incredible charities

You can sponsor Steve on his Virgin Money page

We've been following Steve on Instagram as he's voyaged south across the continent, from blizzards in Sweden to extreme sunshine in Spain. You can follow him @stevegroombridge on Instagram and check  out some of his amazing pictures as he travels across Europe.

A view shots along the way.

From everyone at the Trust, a huge thank you for everything that you've done and the money you have raised - enjoy the last few days!
