Andrew Spinks Andrew 'Dru' Spinks has played basketball at both national club and international level. He played as a swingman, meaning he could switch between playing shooting guard and small forward. Dru played for Milton Keynes Lions for 12 years, making him the longest-serving player in the British Basketball League, before departing in 2010. Dru is originally from Barnet and stands at 6’5”. He received 27 England Caps in the course of his basketball career. Giving back Dru is a highly effective athlete mentor for the Dame Kelly Holmes Trust; he has inspired many young people on the ‘Get on Track’ programmes he has been involved with.
