Chris has played over 400 professional games over a 17 year career.

Chris came through the ranks of his home town club of Yeovil Town, becoming the number one goalkeeper at the age of 19. He rose through the leagues with Yeovil Town, then he played championship football for Bristol City and Leicester City. A successful spell with Shrewsbury Town followed, with a return to his home town club where he took on a player/coach role. Lastly a playing spell at Derby County followed. Chris is now taking time to consider his next career move.

Chris has had a keen interest in psychology, positive lifestyle and mind-set from early on in his career, keen to share and learn. He currently holds his UEFA B coaching certificate and is studying for a sports science degree part time and exploring mindfulness and meditation.

Giving Back

Chris is having always been keen to make a difference, he has been nominated for PFA player in the community award in 2014 and 2015. Chris has also had an Ambassador role for the NCS program and is a Patron of Edgar gifts. A father of two he understands the importance that positive mentors and role models can make to young people’s lives.
