Ed is an experienced charity leader, having held senior roles in voluntary sector organisations for 20 years.  He is currently the Chief Executive of Riding for the Disabled Association, a UK-wide charity provide therapy for disabled people through working with horses, where he has led a period of significant growth and professionalisation.

Ed’s career has been based around supporting the power of volunteers to support people achieve extraordinary things and is a passionate believer in the power of people supporting people.  He has extensive experience of working with a supporting large volunteer networks and galvanizing them behind shared objectives.  He has also been a Trustee of several other charities.

Outside work Ed is a keen cyclist and triathlete.

Ed became Chair of the Board of Trustees in October 2019
