Keith is a fencer from Edinburgh who first got into the sport when a friend who practised it suggested he have a go as well.

Keith found that he loved it, and he’s been fencing ever since. Keith is part of Salle Holyrood Fencing Club, and he also trains at Heriot Watt ‘East of Scotland Institute of Sport.’

The first major event he competed in was the Malaysia Commonwealth Games in 1998. Keith was 17 years old at the time and won a Bronze medal in the Team Event. This was a fantastic achievement because Scotland had never medalled in the Men’s Foil team before. Keith’s ultimate aim is to win Olympic gold, as well as inspiring Scotland’s next generation of fencers.
