"Throughout my life, I've grown up around alcohol, I have family members struggling with alcohol addiction at the moment and I want to make young people aware of the issue. We don't want a bunch of twelve year olds walking around with cans.

Before I did Get on Track I was pretty much doing nothing. I was either sat in a Job Centre, out trying to find work or sat at home on my computer. Get on Track gave me the confidence and motivation to do more and now I have come back to work on Community Champions - I can't wait to get stuck in.

My social action project is going to be a a gala for alcohol awareness. I want to involve local rugby and football clubs, have a fve-asaide football tournament, get awareness charities involved.

I want everyone to know that I'm doing this - and I want you there."

We'll be keeping in touch with Liam and our other Community Champions over the next four months. Follow their stories on Twitter and Facebook.
