Lizzie has been involved with swimming from a very young age, and has competed professionally for Great Britain for more than 12 years.

Career highlights include 11 British titles, being double European Champion, and finishing fourth at the London Olympic Games. Her best experience through sport has been racing in front of a home crowd at the 2012 Olympics.

Giving Back

Before the London Olympics Lizzie was an ambassador for a charity helping to promote a healthy and active lifestyle to underprivileged children. Her role included leading presentations and activity sessions, and encouraging the kids to set and achieve goals. Her passion for giving back is fuelled from many years of being self-focused with her own training and competition; she now feels it's the right time to start giving back to the sport that has offered her so much, and is keen to help youngsters who have not had the same opportunities that she had whilst growing up.
