400 people from a wide range of businesses, colleges and government signed up to our online summer  series of Bite Size Briefings, all delivered by our world class athletes and covering a range of key business topics including Leadership, Motivation and Communication.

All of our young people programmes are led by world class athletes, but these athletes are also available to deliver training to organisations and businesses allowing them to learn from their experiences and bring out the key attitudes needed for success, whilst inspiring, motivating and developing the well-being of your workforce.

We set out to create the Bite Size Briefing series back in June to meet two objectives.

  1. Offer free sessions during lockdown to allow everyone to gain a greater understanding of a business topic or skill from a world class athlete.
  2. Demonstrate to business and organisations the ability of athletes to train and upskill their workforces using skills and experience gained from their sporting careers.

The feedback on the sessions has been really positive, with participants appreciating hearing about the athlete's stories, the key useful takeaways delivered and the easy to consume format and timeframe. Some of the comments we received were:

  • A great session on building leadership skills in both business and day to day settings. Useful takeaways and a perfect 30-minute break in the day!
  • The Bite Size Briefing was captivating and concise
  • Jack’s story is a powerful one that has motivated me to strive to be the best leader I can.
  • A very insightful real-world approach to working with confidence and with young people
  • I now have more ideas about goal setting for the clients I work with, helping them to make goals for the future and to celebrate the small successes they make along the way.

The full list of sessions delivered were:
