Become a Youth Mental Health First Aider

This two day online course qualifies you as a Youth Mental Health First Aider and gives an in-depth understanding of young people’s mental health and factors that affect wellbeing as well as practical skills to spot the triggers and signs of mental health issues.

Sessions are split over four afternoon sessions from 1-4pm, starting Monday 30th November and finishing on Tuesday 8th December.

The course is appropriate for everyone who teaches, works, lives or cares for 8 – 18 year olds, including young people themselves from age 16 upward.

All the sessions will be delivered by Olympic swimmer, Adam Whitehead:

Adam Whitehead is an accredited Instructor Member, approved by MHFA England to deliver Adult MHFA and Youth MHFA courses. Adam is a Commonwealth Gold medallist swimmer and has been involved with the Trust for ten years delivering and in later years designing all of the Trust's youth programmes.
