Sophie was a keen sportswoman from a young age and began judo when she was just seven years old at a summer course.

She gained her black belt at 15 and has since been on to represent GB at European, World and Olympic Level. She coaches and is an ambassador for her sport and in other areas.

Sophie has had the good fortune to travel and compete all over the world. She has also had time away from competition and worked as an English and PE teacher in Thailand.  She works as an ambassador and athlete mentor and is often in demand for public appearances including speaking and presentations. She coaches adults and children and hopes to inspire other young people.
