Toby excelled at all sports at school and it wasn’t until he left school that he decided to take up rowing full time and joined the world famous Leander Club.

Toby was the youngest member of the GB rowing team in 1997 and quickly made his mark. Unfortunately, he suffered a prolapsed disc in 1998, however with guts and determination to succeed, Toby began the long road back to fitness becoming world champion in 2000 and 2001.

He retired from rowing in 2008 to set up his very successful personal training and coaching business but missed competitive sport so took up triathlon, becoming a double triathlon champion.
