Toni's early background was as a middle distance and cross country runner. After years of not being involved in sport she discovered Obstacle Course Racing (OCR) when she took the place of a military bootcamp instructor in 2010 for a team race.

She loved it but felt she could push herself more, so signed up for solo events all over the country.  She soon found herself regularly in the top placings against all age groups, and has gone on to win the Masters UK OCR League twice, and recently represented GBR in the OCR World Championships in Ohio. She unfortunately got injured on both ankles and succumbed to hypothermia. However, this did not deter her and she finished the race. Her next big events were the inaugural European Championships in the Netherlands, and the OCR World Championships in Canada.

Giving Back

Toni is fairly new to the Dame Kelly Holmes Trust but is already involved in a project. She is really excited about working with the Trust on other projects to help young people get their lives on track and achieve their dreams.
